Claire de Divonne is a painter and designer with a background in applied arts. She explored numerous artistic paths before finding that jewellery was the medium best suited to the expression of her talents.

Claire discovered precious stones while on an exploratory trip in India and created her first assemblages of stones on strings. Her collections grew in stature and the company that bears her name was created first in London in 1999, and then Paris in 2003.
In her Parisian studio, Claire experiments with playful and poetic shapes in her sketches and drawings that later become pieces of jewellery. Gold string, silver cut-outs, finely cut precious stones and multicoloured ribbons come together to give life to these collections, many of which are produced in the Gem Palace workshops in Jaipur. In this legendary place, where the artisans are renowned for their ancestral savoir-faire, Claire handpicks fine and precious stones. Each piece is then fashioned by hand by a master-jeweller. From this marriage of talents exquisite and sophisticated sets are born for the greater pleasure of an increasing number of collectors.
Claire also designs jewellery collections and objects for other brands.
